1General Eligibility & Scope of Submissions
  • Full Completed Manuscripts Only: Submissions must consist of complete, finished manuscripts containing full datasets, results, and discussions. Standalone abstracts, study proposals, protocols, or preliminary works are strictly ineligible.

  • Eligible Study Types: All study types are accepted (e.g., randomized controlled trials, observational studies, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, diagnostic accuracy studies, surgical techniques, and case reports/series) in all areas of ORL-HNS.

  • Philippine Residents’ Case Reports: In compliance with society rules, case reports submitted by residents of ORL-HNS training institutions in the Philippines must first be submitted to the PSO-HNS Interesting Case Contest. Only those not accepted in that contest may be submitted for the Congress Free Paper session.

  • Authorship & Declaration: The presenter must be one of the listed authors of the paper and must complete and submit the official Authorship Declaration Form included in the online submission portal.

  • Originality & Prior Presentation Policy:

    • Work must be original and not published (e.g. journal, congress book, etc.), accepted, or under active peer review elsewhere prior to this submission.

    • Internal presentations at the investigator’s home institution or local hospital meetings are allowed.

  • Congress Registration: The designated presenting author must be fully registered as a congress delegate by February 28, 2027. He/she shall then be eligible for the extended early bird registration rate.

  • Editorial Rights: The scientific committee reserves the right to edit submitted abstracts for grammar and clarity.

  • Finality: All decisions of the Scientific Committee and Board of Judges are final and binding.
